Babies grow so fast. We've been buying a few very cool little clothes for our little guy to wear when he pops out. We maybe have 6 outfits for the first 3 months, 3 for the 3-6 month period, and a couple for 12-18 months. Not a ton of stuff, but a start. A baby's wardrobe just needs the basics with a few outfits for those special "going out and must look cute" days. Two of my favorite places for clothes I've found so far is American Apparel and Gymboree.
Last night though, a couple of our good friends who just had their second son a couple months ago gave us a HUGE bag of clothes and various baby items for our little cookie. I spent at least 45 minutes digging through the clothes making various "aw" and "oh" noises. I didn't even get to the bottom. I think our baby could wear something different every single day for the first 3 months. It's awesome! It's so great to have friends like that. We'll be sure to pass our munchkin's clothes on as well. With all the other expenses having a baby incurs, it's nice to not have to worry about buying a bunch of expensive clothes he'll grow out of in just a couple months.
