First Smile : )

Dex just smiled at me! It was the first real, genuine smile. Babies do a lot grinning while asleep, but they aren't in response to anything. Today, I was holding him and looking straight into his face and he looked straight at me. I smiled at him and talked to him and he raised one corner up in a half smile. I got a little giddy and started smiling bigger and talking to him excitedly. He then gave me both corners in the cutest little heart-melting smile. I honestly teared up a little. I can't wait for Mr. Cobra to see it. I hate that he missed it, but he will soon have his first smile for daddy too.
