Well I sure feel like a weeble. My belly is getting out of control. The ultrasound estimated the the baby to be around 4.5 lbs last week. He is of average size; in the 55th percentile. He is gaining about half a pound a week from here on out, so he's about 5 lbs now. His head is a little over 12 inches around. When he's born, the average is 14 inches and he will probably be around 8lbs. Now doesn't that sound painful? Sure it's sounds healthy to you, but your not pushing the "little" guy out your hoo-hoo.The baby shower is Saturday. Jess and I went and bought 99% of the food and decorations last night. I was sooo tired after 3.5 hours of shopping. I laid down to read and didn't even get through one page before I was sawing logs. This shower is gonna be so much fun. I can't wait till Saturday!
Mr. Cobra had his show last night, so he got home around 1:30am. It sounded like it went over really well and they had a good size crowd for a Wednesday night. In the King Loses Crown tradition, he gave out all but 3 buttons.
This morning we had a doctor appointment. Apparently, my doctor is notorious for running 45 minutes late. I had just lost all patience with the situation and was in line to reschedule when they finally called us in - an hour after my appointment was scheduled. The appointment itself was like 20 minutes, so it's frustrating to have deadlines and meetings to attend to and have to go to a doctor appointment that should take an hour that turns into two hours. My little vent, but my amazing happy hormones have me just smiling away. That's disturbing.
