We went to a Pirate Festival for Father's Day. It was like a Renaissance Festival, but all pirates! It was much more than I expected. They had real cannons, sword fights, real sailing pirate ships, and tons of people dressed for the occasion. There were a bunch of vendors selling handmade pirate-wear. It certainly made me appreciate people's costumes. For instance, good pirate boots will set you back about $600-$800. I can't believe how much people spend!
We all got sunburned. Even with SPF 50 baby sunblock, Dexter's a little pink. I am really burned to a crisp. I started taking my Methotrexate this week and forgot about the photosensitivity - meaning STAY OUT OF THE SUN! I put sunblock on and it still looks like I was outside for 8 hours without any sunblock on. Wow it hurts!
